Drybrushing destroys brushes — that is the whole technique. These are built for it: a blend of natural hair and selected synthetic fibres, with short, dense heads that keep their shape while you scrub pigment across raised detail.

Use them for chainmail, fur, stonework, wood grain, rust and basing texture, where the point is catching edges rather than placing paint. Keeping a dedicated drybrush set is the single easiest way to stop ruining the brushes you actually paint with.
