Game Color Wash Set (8 Paints) - Vallejo 18ml

Eight washes covering the full shading spectrum — from the neutral Shadow and Black you use on nearly everything to the coloured washes that tint rather than just darken. Sepia over leather, Flesh over skin, Red into cloth, Blue into ice and steel: the coloured ones do work a neutral shade cannot.

The consistency is deliberately very fluid, so they flow into recesses and pull back off raised surfaces instead of pooling in flat areas. That makes them good for smooth gradients and outlining as well as straight shading, and they thin down well enough to use through an airbrush.
