Panel Line Accent Color Orange-Brown 40ml - Tamiya

Orange-brown is a rust colour more than a shadow colour. Run into panel lines, around bolt heads and down from hatches it reads as corrosion streaking, which is exactly the effect a neutral wash cannot give you.

Panel Line Accent Color is enamel, pre-thinned to exactly the viscosity capillary action needs, with a brush built into the cap. Touch it to a recess and it runs the length of the line on its own; clean up the overspill with enamel thinner once dry.

Apply over a cured lacquer or acrylic base coat and test first — enamel can bite into a flat base coat, and it can make thin plastic brittle, so keep it off moving parts and load-bearing joints.
