ITEM 87044White primer is the ground for bright, saturated schemes. Yellow, orange and red are low-opacity pigments by nature and reach full strength in a fraction of the coats over white that they need over grey — which matters, because every extra coat buries a little more surface detail.
Formulated for ABS and styrene model parts, and usable on metal. Like all Tamiya surface primers it can be wet-sanded once cured, so you can knock back orange peel or a repaired patch before the colour goes on.
