Panel Line Accent Color Gray 40ml - Tamiya

Grey is the wash for white and light grey parts, where black is simply too harsh — it separates the panels without drawing a hard cartoon outline around every one. The obvious choice for airliners, white Gunpla and light aircraft.

Panel Line Accent Color is enamel, pre-thinned to exactly the viscosity capillary action needs, with a brush built into the cap. Touch it to a recess and it runs the length of the line on its own; clean up the overspill with enamel thinner once dry.

Apply over a cured lacquer or acrylic base coat and test first — enamel can bite into a flat base coat, and it can make thin plastic brittle, so keep it off moving parts and load-bearing joints.
