Panel Line Accent Color Dark Brown 40ml - Tamiya

Dark brown reads as accumulated dirt and oil rather than shadow, which makes it the military modeller's default — tank hulls, softskin vehicles, wooden decks and anything that has been outdoors. It also warms up recesses on yellow and orange without greying them.

Panel Line Accent Color is enamel, pre-thinned to exactly the viscosity capillary action needs, with a brush built into the cap. Touch it to a recess and it runs the length of the line on its own; clean up the overspill with enamel thinner once dry.

Apply over a cured lacquer or acrylic base coat and test first — enamel can bite into a flat base coat, and it can make thin plastic brittle, so keep it off moving parts and load-bearing joints.
