ITEM 18014The Avante Jr. is a Tamiya legend in miniature — a Mini 4WD version of the R/C car that defined a generation of the hobby. It runs on the lightweight Type 2 chassis, wears slick tyres on large-diameter wheels, and can be geared two different ways depending on whether you want acceleration or top speed.
It is a self-propelled assembly kit rather than a static model: you build it, drop in two AA batteries, and it runs. Stickers are supplied to recreate the car's markings. The image shows the kit painted and assembled.
