Plastic Cement 20ml - Tamiya

Tamiya's original plastic cement, and a thicker product than the Extra Thin bottles — which is the reason to own both. This one has body, so it stays where you put it instead of running, and it fills a slightly loose joint rather than just fusing a tight one.

Use it where a part needs to be positioned and held: large mating surfaces, a wing root that does not quite close, a join you want to fill and fuse in a single step. It is not really a glue. The solvent melts a thin layer of each surface so the two fuse into one piece of plastic — which is why a properly cemented joint is stronger than the plastic around it, and why it only works on polystyrene.

It gives you longer to adjust the fit than Extra Thin does, which on big assemblies is worth more than speed. Brush applicator built into the cap.
