What to chase
Mega Darkrai ex is the headline Darkness attacker, with Mega Zeraora ex co-featured as the Lightning counterpart — an unusual two-type split for a Mega Evolution set. Mega Chandelure ex and Mega Excadrill ex round out the roster. Because Pitch Black only released in July 2026, secondary pricing on its special illustration rares is still finding its level, which is exactly the window where sealed product tends to be worth opening rather than flipping.
