Description
Mega Evolution is back. Released 26 September 2025, the Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution expansion reintroduces Mega Evolution Pokémon ex — enormous-HP attackers that hit like a truck but hand your opponent three Prize cards when they go down. Every sealed pack is a shot at one of the set's ten Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, including Mega Lucario ex and Mega Gardevoir ex.
What's in a Mega Evolution booster pack
- 10 cards per pack, drawn from the 188-card Mega Evolution set
- Chase pulls include 22 illustration rares, 22 ultra rare Mega Evolution Pokémon ex and Trainers, and 10 special illustration rares
- Factory sealed, English-language, single booster pack
- Set code 105 — the first expansion of the Mega Evolution series
Why players are chasing this set
Mega Evolution Pokémon ex are the biggest swing the Pokémon TCG has taken in years. The extra HP and damage output are real, but the three-Prize penalty means one bad knockout can end a game on the spot. That risk-reward tension has made Mega Evolution one of the most talked-about competitive formats since the ex mechanic launched — and it's made the set's special illustration rares some of the most sought-after pulls of the year for collectors.
Single pack or full booster box?
A single pack is the low-risk way to try your luck on the set or top up a collection without committing to a case. If you're chasing a specific Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, opening on stream, or drafting with friends, the Mega Evolution Booster Box Display (36 packs) brings the per-pack cost down considerably.
