SKU BR7039The Basecoating brush is the largest of the five, a size 5 head built for covering ground fast. It is the brush for laying base colours across a whole unit or army, where a smooth, long-lasting belly matters more than a fine point.
Wargamer is The Army Painter's brush line for miniature painting. This one is built on their Bionic Bristles, the synthetic filament named on the newest Wargamer brushes; earlier brushes in the range use a mix of bristle types, including Rotmarder sable on the detail sizes. Every Wargamer brush shares the same ergonomic triangular handle, which gives a more relaxed grip and stops it rolling off the desk.
Rinse the brush out while the paint is still wet, never let paint dry in the ferrule, and store it bristles-up. Sold as a single brush.
