SKU VAL-74660Gloss black is a specialist primer, not a general one. A glossy ground reflects light back through whatever sits on top of it, which is exactly what alcohol metallics, candy coats and tinted metallics need in order to look like chrome rather than grey paint. On a matt primer the same metallic goes flat.
Water-based polyurethane, usable neat or mixed with Vallejo varnishes and mediums — but keep it away from alcohol and solvents. Apply by airbrush or brush over plastic, brass, resin and metal. Clean up with water, or Airbrush Cleaner for a full strip.
