Liquid Mask reserves the areas you do not want to paint. Brushed on and left to dry, it forms a protective film that takes the colour instead of the surface underneath, then lifts away to leave a clean edge behind.
It earns its keep with an airbrush, where overspray goes everywhere — mask off canopies, visors and markings before you spray, then remove the film once the colour has cured. It works under a brush too, for crisp camouflage demarcations and tidy freehand boundaries.
Shake lightly and test on the surface before committing to a model. Remove by peeling or rubbing carefully once dry, and do not leave it applied for extended periods — the longer it sits, the harder it is to lift cleanly. Keep from freezing.
