Stormwolf Blue 1 is the darkest of the five Stormwolf Blue tones — a cool blue-grey, suited to armour, cool-toned cloth and stone. Use it for deep shadow and recess work, or as the starting point of a dark scheme.

Warhammer Tone Pro paints are numbered 1 to 5, darkest to lightest, so every colour comes as a ready-made ladder of shade and highlight. The range is formulated for strong coverage from the first coat and can be used for basecoats, layers, highlights, glazing or drybrushing. Supplied in a 12ml pot.

Works well with

• Stormwolf Blue 2, the next tone up
• Stormwolf Blue 3, for the mid-tone
• Shading Medium, mixed in to turn it into a shade or glaze
