ON THE TABLETOP
Sternguard are the Chapter's firing line at its most disciplined: veterans who hold the midfield, punish anything that steps into range, and refuse to give up an objective. Their special-issue ammunition legacy makes them the classic answer to tough infantry, and because they wear the Chapter's colors like any battleline squad, they slot into any Space Marines army — from Ultramarines to Imperial Fists to your own successor Chapter. They pair naturally with a characterful leader and ride to war in style aboard a Stormraven Gunship.
HOBBY NOTES
Veterans mean extra regalia — purity seals, holstered sidearms, ornate pauldrons — which reward picking out details in gold and bone over your Chapter's base color. A classic touch is painting the helmets in veteran white or the Chapter's veteran trim so the squad reads as elite on the table. Grab your Chapter's colors from our paint sets.
