PRO Acryl Spray — Matte White Primer

PRO Acryl Spray in Matte White is a white aerosol primer, made in partnership with The Colour Forge for use on plastic, resin and metal. A white undercoat is what keeps yellows, reds, oranges and pale schemes vivid — over black those colours fight you for coat after coat and still end up muddy.

Priming white also suits zenithal work, where you spray white from above over a darker base to establish light direction before any colour goes on. Dries to a true matte finish that takes paint cleanly.

• Shake the can thoroughly for two minutes before use
• In cold conditions, warm the can to room temperature first
• Test on a spare surface to check the nozzle is spraying evenly
• Hold about 12 inches from the model and build up in short passes
• Invert the can and spray until clear afterwards to prevent nozzle blockage

• Golden Yellow and Bold Pyrrole Red, which need a light undercoat
• Pro Acryl PRIME White brush-on primer, for touch-ups in the same tone
• PRO Acryl Spray Clear Matte Varnish, to seal the finished model
