Description
Grey Earth is a fine-grain basing texture in a dark neutral grey, suited to ash wastes, industrial flooring and cold, lifeless ground.
Its neutrality is the useful part — with no warm cast fighting them, greys and blues on the model stay cold, which a brown-toned soil would undermine. The fine grade keeps the grain in scale with 28mm infantry. Supplied in a squeeze tube so it stays workable and places precisely. 120ml, paintable straight out of the tube.
Works well with
- Black Wash, to deepen the texture and add shadow
- Bold Titanium White, drybrushed across the raised grain
- Grey Earth COARSE, for rubble scattered over the finer ground
