Description
nanoblock is Kawada's micro-brick system out of Tokyo, built around a brick measuring just 4mm x 4mm x 3mm — roughly an eighth the size of a standard building block. That scale is the whole point. It lets a Pokémon's silhouette read clearly in a finished model that still fits in the palm of your hand.
What you get
- One sealed Pokémon nanoblock set from Kawada's NBPM series
- Styles may vary — we stock several characters under this listing and ship from current inventory. Message us before ordering if you need a specific Pokémon and we'll tell you what's on the shelf.
- Standard Pokémon nanoblock models run roughly 60 to 250 pieces with a difficulty rating around 2 of 5
- Recommended for ages 12 and up — the pieces are genuinely tiny
How nanoblock differs from other building bricks
nanoblock uses a double-ridged backing system rather than the hollow-tube clutch found on LEGO bricks, so the two systems are not cross-compatible. The smaller brick and tighter tolerances push the experience closer to detailed model-making than to conventional block play. Most sets come together in well under an hour and reward good light and a steady hand.
Who it's for
Desk and shelf display, stocking fillers and gifts under $15, and anyone who wants a short, satisfying build between longer hobby projects. It also makes a good gateway for Pokémon fans who aren't ready to commit to a full miniatures kit.
