Description
Mechanicus Standard Grey spray lays down a mid-tone neutral grey undercoat, matched to the Citadel Base paint of the same name.
It is the quick way to basecoat anything meant to read as bare metal, machinery or stone — Adeptus Mechanicus forces, vehicles and terrain — because the sprayed colour is already the finished basecoat, so a shade and a highlight are all that is left to do. Being a mid grey it takes edge highlights cleanly without the chalkiness a white undercoat can leave. Spray in light passes from roughly 15cm in a well-ventilated space.

- Mechanicus Standard Grey base paint, for brush touch-ups
- Nuln Oil, to shade panel lines and recesses
- Administratum Grey, for edge highlights over the sprayed basecoat
