Glasspack Footprints are transparent 1mm terrain bases designed to clearly define the footprint of buildings, ruins, walls and other key terrain areas, compatible with Warhammer 40,000® 11th Edition. With the current edition moving away from traditional round objective markers toward a much stronger emphasis on terrain footprints, clearly marked battlefield areas matter more than ever for objective control, mission clarity and line-of-sight discussions.

Made from fully transparent, flexible, shatter-resistant glasspack plastic, these templates define the exact playable area of each scenery piece without hiding the design of the gaming mat underneath. Unlike MDF, neoprene and other opaque alternatives, they preserve the look of the battlefield while avoiding raised edges that can interfere with model placement or movement. Their low-profile format suits competitive play, pickup games, clubs and tournaments where consistency, fast setup and easy storage matter.

Each footprint has white printed edges so terrain zone boundaries stay easy to identify during play — reducing ambiguity when checking whether a unit is inside a ruin, benefiting from cover, contesting an area, or interacting with mission-specific terrain. These work particularly well on dark, urban, ash waste or grey gaming mats, where the white outline stays visible without overwhelming the table; they're less suited to very bright, desert-white or snow-themed boards.
