The high-coverage acrylic formula is fast-drying and water-resistant, and adheres to plastic, resin, metal, and wood. Once dry, the paint resists handling, water, and heat, so finished miniatures stand up to regular gaming sessions. AK recommends a white primer underneath for best results.

Apply it in layers like any modeling paint and blend colours together for smooth transitions. The finish is matte, though some references lean satin due to the pigments, and any varnish — matte, satin, or gloss — can go over it without damage. You can also weather over it with any product without lifting the paint.
