Description
Lahmian Medium is a clear, matt medium rather than a colour. It thins Citadel paints and shades without weakening the pigment the way plain water does.
Mix it into shades to create custom washes, into layer paints for glazing and smooth blends, or use it to control where a wash travels. It is one of the few pots that changes how every other paint on the desk behaves.
Works well with
- Nuln Oil and Agrax Earthshade, for making gentler custom shades
- Any Layer paint, for glazing transitions smooth
- Contrast Medium, its counterpart for thinning Contrast paints
