These contain a mix of gallant greys swirled with veins of faultless whites and inlaid with an honest white. A matte grey-and-white body with a white inlay is the subtlest set in the range — elegant in the hand, but the lowest contrast to read across a table.

Baron of Dice cast these in resin rather than moulding them in plastic, which is why no two are quite the same — the swirl is poured, so each die in the pack carries its own pattern. The symbol face is inlaid rather than printed, so it does not wear off the way painted pips do.

The symbols sit on the 6 face, so a hit or a failure reads across the table without picking the die up — which is the whole reason a themed set beats a handful of casino dice.
