OVERVIEW
Deluxe Set 01 is a second, larger standalone game rather than an add-on. It is built around the One Year War, and it is big enough to be a starting point in its own right — board, terrain, dice and rulebook are all in the box.
Thirteen miniatures cover both sides of the conflict, from the RX-78-2 Gundam, Guncannon and Guntank through the GM and the Ball, against Zaku I and II, the Dom, the Oggo and the Zeong. Two battleships are included as playable pieces: the Federation’s White Base and the Zeon Musai.
Battles are five-a-side and run two to three hours, with a Battle of A Baoa Qu scenario among the objectives. Two maps ship in the box instead of one.
