OVERVIEW
Paint Pack 01 answers the obvious question about Gundam Assemble: the miniatures come moulded in a single colour, so how do you get them looking like the real thing? This pack ships three of them with the four paints and the brush you need.
The models are the White Base trio from the original series — RX-78-2 Gundam, RX-77-2 Guncannon and RX-75 Guntank — and the four colours are white, blue, yellow and red, which is exactly the RX-78-2 palette. Paint straight from the pot.
The paints are water-based acrylics from the Gundam Assemble Color line, made by Mr. Hobby. Water-based means brushes clean up in water and there is no solvent smell, which matters if you paint indoors. This is not a standalone game — the three units come with their cards, but you will need a core set to play them.
