Green Stuff Bar — 100g Putty

Kneadatite Blue/Yellow Green Stuff is a room-temperature curing two-part epoxy putty, supplied here in bar format. Mixing equal parts of the yellow filler and blue hardener produces a sticky green putty with a texture close to chewed bubble gum — a 90-minute worklife gives plenty of time for shaping and detailing, reaching ultimate hardness after 24 hours. Shifting the mix ratio toward more blue or more yellow speeds up or slows down the cure and changes the final hardness.

A little lubricant — water is usually enough, though some sculptors use Vaseline, petroleum jelly, or baby oil — keeps the putty from sticking to fingers and tools. Talcum powder can also be dusted on to reduce stickiness and avoid fingerprints.

The bar format is the standard block cut of Green Stuff, well suited to bulk sculpting work where larger quantities are needed at once.
