Golden Eagle D6 Dice Set (25 × 16mm, Round Corner) - Baron of Dice

These contain a base of matte black — derived from long-forgotten technology that does NOT reflect light — inlaid with a metallic gold. The non-reflective black is the point: gold on gloss would flare under a light, and on this body it stays legible from any angle.

Baron of Dice cast these in resin rather than moulding them in plastic, which is why no two are quite the same — the swirl is poured, so each die in the pack carries its own pattern. The symbol face is inlaid rather than printed, so it does not wear off the way painted pips do.

The symbols sit on the 6 face, so a hit or a failure reads across the table without picking the die up — which is the whole reason a themed set beats a handful of casino dice.
