SKU BOD 25These contain a dreary blue base swirled with vengeful black streaks and inlaid with a two-toned white skull and murderous red. Blue and black is a darker pairing than most ranges attempt for dice, so the two-tone white and red inlay is carrying the readability on its own.
Baron of Dice cast these in resin rather than moulding them in plastic, which is why no two are quite the same — the swirl is poured, so each die in the pack carries its own pattern. The symbol face is inlaid rather than printed, so it does not wear off the way painted pips do.
The symbols sit on the 6 face, so a hit or a failure reads across the table without picking the die up — which is the whole reason a themed set beats a handful of casino dice.
