Three colours for WWII American infantry, and the selection is doing more work than it looks. US Olive Uniform carries the whole figure, Ochre Green breaks up the flatness the way real sun-faded cotton does, and Dark Leather covers boots, webbing and rifle slings in one pass.

Quick Gen is AK's one-coat contrast range: heavily pigmented acrylic that flows into recesses and thins over raised detail on its own, so a single pass leaves shade, midtone and highlight roughly where they belong. It is built for getting a unit table-ready fast rather than for display-cabinet blending.

Works best over a light primer — white or bone — because the effect depends on light coming back through the paint film. Shake well, apply generously with a soft brush, and let it pool where it wants to; brushing it back out defeats the point.
