The fine grade of AK’s black rubber, sieved to 0.8–2 mm. At that size it behaves like a dark ballast or ash scatter, and being rubber it will not weigh down a large terrain piece or mark the paint on anything it is stored against.

Sized to work from 25 mm miniature bases up to larger-scale scenery, so the same tub serves a wargames force and a display diorama.
