Pure black rubber fragments rather than stone, which solves two problems at once: a large scenic piece stops adding real weight to a model or a movement tray, and nothing in the tub can scratch a painted surface. The natural black also makes it the obvious choice for coal, slag and burnt ground.

Sized to work from 25 mm miniature bases up to larger-scale scenery, so the same tub serves a wargames force and a display diorama.

Takes primer and paint normally if you want it a colour other than black.
