Natural soil pre-mixed with finely detailed 3D-printed bone fragments. Mixing bone into the groundwork rather than placing skulls on top of it is what stops a graveyard base looking staged — the bone comes up out of the earth at the density it would actually be found.

Sized to work from 25 mm miniature bases up to larger-scale scenery, so the same tub serves a wargames force and a display diorama.

Fix it down with PVA, or with AK Interactive’s Gravel & Sand Fixer (AK118) — an alcohol-based adhesive that soaks into the material instead of sitting on top of it as a plastic film the way white glue does.
