Washes and weathering products add depth that flat color cannot. A wash is a thin, dark, free-flowing paint that runs into recesses and settles there, instantly defining panel lines, chainmail, folds and rivets in a single pass. Weathering products go further, building rust, grime, dust and chipping onto an otherwise finished model.
